Hooxrihgt
The Order of The Hooxe, or the Hooxrihgt, are a secretive and monastic order of Hoodrick knights that emerged after the mythical swordsman Bharamund, the most honorable warrior to grace the square, resisted the very flames of an Elyrion dragon at the time of his untimely execution! Legend says that his honor and brave acceptance of his death was so overflowing that even the flames themselves part from him, like sea to a stone! A miracle most profound, he then managed to find the valor to slay the very dragon that sought to fry him with his trusty blade.
Now, even centuries after his death, a small group of Hoodrick outcasts hide themselves in mossy chapels and cobble stone hovels, practicing strange rituals and rites that make them pariahs amongst the Hoodrick. For one, they discard the bow and instead train with unmatched fervor in the art of melee combat. Next, they deem the Hooxe a symbol of strength and honor, much like Bharamund himself, so they are fanatically protected, even from Hoodrick hunters. They eat no sweets but the raw flesh of unripened quissberries. They bake no bread but large, table-sized biscuits that they share from disciple to disciple. For drink, they subside only on the unpasturized milk of the Hooxe, that they blend with plundered honey and smoked crumbs. Finally, it seems that they worship no gods, but the very concept of honor itself. They take oaths to an egregiously serious degree, often to a fault. Failure to tell truths or to follow said oaths can lead to expulsion or at times, death!
They are strange beyond strange for the average Hoodricker, to the point where they skirmish with the knights at times. Usually from some misunderstanding, some twisted act of honor or a prying curiosity for what they hide in their shrines... but when the night is darkest, the Hooxrihgt will bear the banner of the Hooxe and die in pursuit of justice and honor, even for their estranged kinsmen!
