The Khondor all have a surprising talent: woodcarving. This is because of a ritual every young Khondor goes through: the Sphelix Choosing. Weeks are spent meticulously carving wooden balls as an offering to each clan's local sphelix colony. With the sphelix matriarch's approval, a kitten will accept the offering, bonding them and the polytopian for life.
