On that fateful day, the Ai Mo researchers discovered something unexpected that would change their look on the history of their tribe. It appears that long long ago in the land of the Ai Mo, stylish hairstyles were a vital part of the Ai Mo culture. That was until an exotic fruit was imported by a Yadakk merchant, the fruit was red and had a peculiar shape. The first Pe Lo chilis were brought to the high priest of the Ai Mos, and he was the first one to eat the chili, and once he took his first bite he was completely hooked. The royal scientists researched the chili after that to check if it wasn't drugged or something, because the high priest was acting really weird after the taste test, but they discovered that the Pe Lo chilis were the most nutritional food there was in the Ai Mo kingdom. Ever since that day, the Pe Lo chilis have been farmed, eaten and used throughout all the Ai Mo lands, but none were the wiser of the dreadful side effects of these deadly peppers.

Apparently, once someone consumes a Pe Lo chili, their hair follicles will start dissolving and all their hair will fall off and never grow again. And just like that, the entire Ai Mo kingdom went bald in no less than a month. The high priest, who realized the mass baldings was caused by the Pe Lo chilis, decided to cover it up and blame the mass baldings on an ancient curse the Vengir have casted upon the Ai Mo folk. Many Ai Mos have told the story of how the Vengir caused the entire tribe to bald long ago, but today that lie ended and the true cause of the mass baldings was discovered.

Some have theorized that the Pe Lo chilis were a poisonous fruit brought in by enemy forces such as Yaddak, to try and kill the entire Ai Mo tribe, but since the Ai Mos have such strong bodies it only affected their hair.
