The Quartzeek, a glass eye of Quetzalian origin, is told through legends to be the breaker of secrets. Whoever wears it will be granted the sight of every living Polytopian at once. Making them see what all sees. Of course, that comes at the cost of one of their eyes having to be removed. The Quartzeek itself is hidden in the Quadrants Quirks, a temple protected by a curse. Rumors have it that any written directions or maps of its whereabouts will immediately combust in flames along with the writer and any visual observer who saw the location unless it is written or drawn using the Quill Of Query, which is lost to sea after it was used to draw a map to the temple by legendary Yadakki-Imperian explorer, Hangoszaj roughly 600 turns ago. The vague whereabouts are mostly known through oral traditions, which Hangoszaj compiled into a map he wrote with the Quill Of Query. The map, also is lost. 96 turns ago, an explorer from Imperius, Sicilya Runes, managed to find the directions to the temple using a "willing" volunteer. He would close his eyes, and the volunteer would systematically mark a set of coordinates with an ordinary pencil while the Imperian explorer listens. As soon as the volunteer marked the right place, he and the map immediately went up in flames but not the explorer as he had closed his eyes.
