In the times of old, after the coalition of upstart tribes had vanquished the Ancients, the tribes were sure that they had completely wiped them out. However, not all believed this. A special group of battle specialists, known these days as the Ancient Aquer, believed that the Ancients had not been completely wiped out. They believed that the Ancients were in hiding somewhere and would one day return to reconquer the square. So, while all the other tribes began to fight amongst themselves, the Ancient Aquer built cities hidden in the ocean beyond the great horizon where they could prepare for when the Ancients would return. Maybe they were right, maybe they were wrong but one thing is for certain, as their military power increased so did their greed until they finally forgot their reason for preparing such a great abundance of weapons and soldiers and only wished to conquer the square.
